ST STITHIANS COLLEGE

EASTER FESTIVAL 2010

The St Stithians College Easter Festival will celebrate 27 years of rugby and 9 years of hockey in 2010. The event focuses on providing a family orientated weekend, which includes good sport, a hospitality tent, a children’s play area, a relaxing pavilion, food vendors and sponsor exhibits.

The Festival has over the years developed a number of traditions and a very supportive and loyal following. This year we are focusing on ‘Support Tomorrow’s Champions Today ’ as the theme of the weekend. One and All is the school motto and the festival is the first and oldest school boy rugby festival in the country.

The weekend attracts between 15 000 and 20 000 supporters over the three days. These are predominantly current families or past pupils of the College and supporters of visiting teams. The 105 hectares on which the College is situated provides a safe, convenient and relaxed environment for all visitors.

The teams attending the Festival this year hail from all over South Africa and would seldom meet one another outside of the Festival. The energy and camaraderie that is present, makes for a very exciting few days.
